In January 2024, "Costin D. Nenitzescu" Institute of Organic and Supramolecular Chemistry (ICOS) submitted to the European Commission the endorsement letter (PDF) on the principles of European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for Recruitment of Researchers (PDF), that was accepted in January 2024, with the subsequent opening of case number 2024RO186712.

In order to obtain the “HR Excellence in Research” award, Costin D. Nenitzescu Institute of Organic and Supramolecular Chemistry started the initial phase, and, as such, submitted the related documents in September 2024. Following the initial assessment, the European Commission Consensus Report was received in November 2024, asking for revisions. In accordance with the assessors recommendations, the documents were updated in January-June 2025, and then re-submitted to EURAXESS portal November 2025.
